Time to fall back in love with cash donors? What giving data shows us…

Back to BlogBack in June, Wood for Trees Managing Director, Jon Kelly, joined Peter Muffett and Gillian Egan from DTV Group in a DTV inspiration and insight session where they discussed survey findings from UK donors that uncovered the huge potential and increasing value in cash givers.
DTV’s research found around 14m people choose to give ad-hoc to charities – that’s more than twice the number of regular givers. However, reservations can coincide with this kind of research on reported behaviour. What do charity supporters that give actually do?
In a follow-up webinar at 11am, Tuesday 2 November 2021, Gillian will recap their key survey results from earlier this year and Jon will present benchmark data from our InsightHub charity benchmarking and reporting tool, which collates giving behaviours across 10m UK donors. He’ll outline trends in income, recruitment, cross-sell and lifetime value, plus supporter profiles, from across the charity sector that align with DTV’s findings.
Jon will also perform a live demo using InsightHub to show supporter insights and giving trends from humanitarian charity, CARE International UK. Becki Young, Head of Individual Giving and Engagement at CARE International UK, will go on to explain why this data has inspired her and her team to focus more on engaging with, and recruiting, cash donors.
The webinar will close with a Q&A session where you can ask questions about the research, data and insights discussed. Register here to discover how valuable cash donors could be to your not-for-profit organisation.
