Charity email marketing soft opt-in
The Data & Marketing Association UK (DMA UK) recently announced the government had accepted an amendment to the Data (Use & Access) Bill to include charity email marketing soft opt-in, which will allow for UK charities to potentially earn an additional £290m annually.
As a DMA UK member, Wood for Trees, part of Salocin Group, provided data analysis in support of their lobbying, to get this clause reinstated in the bill.
