J Cromack to speak at Third Sector GDPR Briefing

Wood for Trees Chief Executive J Cromack will contribute to the forthcoming GDPR Briefing organised by Third Sector. The event is scheduled for 26th September at the Regent Street Cinema in London.

The introduction of the General Data Protection Regulation in May 2018 is the biggest change to data protection legislation in more than 20 years.  As a result, organisations will need to overhaul the ways they obtain and use personal data. For charities, this means having to adhere to new guidelines on how they make contact with new and existing donors.

It promises to be both useful and illuminating. Book your place by clicking the link above, and find out what this new legislation means for your organisation and how to prepare for the implementation of GDPR on 25 May. Delegates will be given the opportunity to anonymously submit sections of their GDPR communications (such as sections of your privacy policy, consent statement and refresh consent emails) to a panel of experts (including J Cromack) who will dissect them and provide constructive feedback to ensure that you are on the right track.
